Job Title: Commercial Manager

Role Overview:
The Commercial Manager will oversee all commercial functions across projects, including cost management, procurement, risk mitigation, and contract administration. You will work closely with the delivery team to ensure financial performance and value for money while protecting the company’s commercial interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, valuations, and cost forecasting.

• Lead on procurement and subcontractor negotiations.

• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage contract changes.

• Oversee applications for payment and final accounts.

• Provide commercial reporting and insights to senior leadership.

• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a commercial or quantity surveying role.

• Strong understanding of various forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT).

• Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field.

• Chartered status (e.g., MRICS) is preferred.
